Prototypes and fit checks
Hold the part, test the fit, find the problem before it costs real money. Iterate in days instead of waiting weeks on a vendor.
Need a prototype in hand this week, a fixture for the line, or a replacement for the part nobody makes anymore? We print it in Moline — from your file or from a model we design for you — with a fixed price and a turnaround measured in days.
Additive manufacturing is the fastest way to hold a real part before you commit to tooling or a production order. It is also the practical way to make one-off fixtures, low-volume parts, and replacements for components that are discontinued or absurdly priced. We print all of it, and we tell you honestly when a part should be machined or molded instead.

Custom holders, alignment guides, drill jigs, and organizers that make repetitive shop work faster and more consistent.
Knobs, brackets, clips, housings, and adapters for equipment where the original is unavailable or overpriced.
A part that is going to live on a machine needs the right material, orientation, and infill — not the printer defaults. We choose those for the load and environment the part will actually see, run a fit check when it matters, and hand you something that works on Monday morning.
Rigid, impact-resistant, heat-tolerant, or flexible — we choose the material and settings for how the part will be used, not what is on the spool.
Ten, fifty, or a few hundred of the same part, printed consistently and priced per unit so you know the cost before you order.
No file yet? Our CAD service models it, we print it, and you skip the handoff between two vendors who blame each other.
Fast, cheap physical iteration changes how you design and how you keep equipment running.
Test the fit and the ergonomics on a printed part before a mold, a casting, or a machined run locks in the design.
Drill jigs, alignment guides, and holders that make repetitive shop work faster, without waiting on a toolmaker.
Knobs, clips, brackets, and housings for equipment where the OEM part is gone or priced like a repair.
Tell us the load, the temperature, and where the part lives. We recommend the family below and dial the settings to match.
Most one-offs are ready within a few business days of a confirmed file.
Ten to a few hundred of the same part get a fixed per-unit price and a delivery date.
Collect at the studio, or we box it and ship it. Either way you see the cost up front.
Yes. Send an STL, 3MF, or STEP file and tell us how the part will be used. We review it for printability, recommend a material, and quote a fixed price per part before anything is printed.
Most single prototypes and small parts are ready within a few business days. Larger parts and batches are quoted with a specific delivery date. Pickup is available at our Moline studio, or we ship.
We print in a range of engineering thermoplastics suited to prototypes, fixtures, and end-use parts, including impact-resistant, heat-tolerant, and flexible options. Tell us the load, temperature, and environment and we will recommend the right one.
Often, but not always. Printing wins for prototypes, one-offs, fixtures, and low volumes. For high volumes or parts under heavy load, machining or molding may be better — and we will say so, and hand you the CAD files to send out for quotes.
Most parts fit in one piece. Larger parts are split with alignment keys and joined, which is standard practice and usually invisible in use. Tell us the overall dimensions and we will confirm.
For brackets, fixtures, housings, and most replacement parts, yes, when the material, orientation, and wall thickness are chosen for the load. We design prints for use, not for a shelf.
Usually. We check the mesh, fix minor issues, and quote it. If the file is broken beyond a quick repair, our print-file service rebuilds it.
Rapid prototyping in the Quad Cities: 3D printed prototypes designed, printed, and revised in days, at a fixed price per iteration, so you can test the idea before you commit to tooling.
CAD design for Quad Cities businesses — production-ready 3D models and drawings for parts, fixtures, enclosures, and jigs, quoted at a fixed price and delivered in days from Moline.
Custom jigs, fixtures, and shop tooling for Quad Cities manufacturers: designed around your operation, 3D printed in Moline in days, and revised for free if the first version is not right.
